  • Frances has been incredible to work with! Her support of our organization has been monumental. Through Frances' consistent and thoughtful guidance and dedication, we have developed program, evaluation, and organization frameworks that have truly supported growth in capacity and quality of our programs and organization as a whole. Frances is an impeccable listener who understands both the big picture and the small details. Furthermore, she is amazingly skilled in capturing what she hears and using it to create meaningful and useful tools as an outcome of her listening. Frances is a genius, and a joy to work with!
    — Kelsey Radmilovic, Camp-to-Community Coordinator, YES Nature to Neighborhoods
  • We love Frances! She has been our go-to evaluator and meticulous analyst for over three years. She's helped us get our thoughts on paper, organize data, and strategize, which has resulted in many clear and precise documents that have moved CommunityGrows forward. We have a great strategic plan, impact report, theory of change and logic model thanks to her. We are proud to show off this work to our donors and funders. She cares about social and environmental justice and is a pleasure to work with. Frances has our highest recommendation!
    — Barbara L Wenger, Executive Director, CommunityGrows
  • In over two decades of work in the nonprofit sector, I have never had the chance to get one on one coaching around evaluation plans and methods until I had the good fortune to be able to work with Frances. How blessed I was to have her guidance in distilling big ideas into more succinct formats, and developing tools for gathering constituent feedback and impact. She is so sharp, intuitive, extremely hard working, very flexible and accommodating, and tech savvy! She really pulled together some highly valuable documents and plans for us in a limited amount of time, which will serve our programming well for many years to come.
    — Bettina Mok, Regional Youth Program Director, Student Conservation Association
  • I've had the pleasure of working with Frances for the past couple years. Frances is thorough, insightful, organized, and caring in her interactions. Her work has been both supportive and analytical, and she's helped our organization develop and improve our Theory of Change, Logic Models, and evaluation tools.
    — Julia Hatton, Director of Youth Programs, Rising Sun Energy Center
  • Frances has a talent for making astute observations and I am constantly impressed by her ability to decipher my jumbled thoughts. Together, we have transformed my ideas into solid strategies and set achievable goals. I now feel more confident in my ability to focus and re-prioritize tasks, allowing me greater control over my time and energy.
    — Robert, Congressional Staffer
  • I found my coaching experience with Frances highly valuable. She helped me prioritize goals and figure out what was stopping me from achieving them. She helped me redefine a draining family relationship, explore fitness options, attain my weight loss goal and stay on target to complete my home maintenance goals. I'm appreciative of Frances' caring manner. I especially enjoyed the thought-provoking questions she posed for contemplation. I highly recommend Frances for any coaching need.

Greetings!

I am a consultant and coach based in the San Francisco Bay Area.

To my coaching and consulting I bring experience working with a range of social sector organizations and collaborative efforts, building evaluation, communication, and strategic planning capacity. My clients and the communities they serve bring incredible depth of knowledge and lived experience, and I find joy in supporting them to name, clarify, and act upon their visions of change.

Raised in a multigenerational household in San Pablo before moving to Roseville (near Sacramento) and then the East Coast for college, I feel blessed to have the opportunity and means to return to the Bay. At the same time, growing up surrounded by many cultures in the East Bay also inspired a yearning to connect with other parts of the country and world. I am thrilled to enjoy a variety of consulting, research, and coaching engagements with individuals and organizations operating in local, regional, national, and international contexts!

I am grateful for the many experiences that led to creating Together Brave, including: working for Learning for Action (LFA), a social sector consulting firm; being part of a California-based healthcare advocacy organization seeking to promote policies that advance evidence-based medicine; teaching middle school math and science; and, spending my out-of-class time in college working for and volunteering with the Phillips Brooks House Association, the nation's largest student-led nonprofit, serving communities throughout Boston and Cambridge.

I received coach training through the Coaches Training Institute (CTI), and am a Coach Member of the International Coach Federation. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Social Studies from Harvard College, where my academic engagement focused on education, community organizing, psychology, and social change.

Happy to hear from you!
